Presented by Central Alabama Electric Cooperative. \n\nThis event brings together Chamber members\, business leaders\, and community partners to reflect on the year past\, install the 2026 Board of Directors\, and recognize outstanding businesses and leaders through the Chamber Awards for Business Excellence.\n\n \n\nChamber Awards for Business Excellence\nEach year\, the Chamber honors businesses and individuals who demonstrate leadership\, innovation\, service\, and meaningful contributions to the Wetumpka business community.\n\n2026 Award Categories\n\nBusiness Leader of the Year\n\nRecognizes an individual business leader whose leadership\, integrity\, and civic involvement have positively impacted the Wetumpka community.\n\nSmall Business of the Year\n\nHonors a Chamber-member small business demonstrating excellence in customer service\, operations\, and community involvement.\n\nMedium Business of the Year\n\nRecognizes a Chamber-member medium-sized business that shows sustained growth\, leadership\, and positive community impact.\n\nLarge Business of the Year\n\nHonors a Chamber-member large business that demonstrates excellence in operations\, workforce leadership\, and community investment.\n\nRising Star Business of the Year\n\nRecognizes a Chamber-member business operating three years or less that has made an exceptional early impact through innovation\, service\, and leadership.\n\n\n\nNOMINATION PROCESS\n\nNominations will be accepted between Friday\, January 9th and Monday\, January 26th at 5 PM. An award review committee will determine the final recipients to be announced at the event. Nominations may be emailed to CEO@wetumpkachamber.org or by filling out the form at this link https://forms.gle/nHK4TDSLqxxAyx5T6\n\n\n\nTo be considered\, nominees must meet the following criteria:\n\nMust be a member of good standing with the Wetumpka Area Chamber of Commerce both at the time of the nomination and the event\n\nMust have been in business for a minimum of one (1) year\n\nDemonstrates a commitment to community involvement
