Piggly Wiggly Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting

The Wetumpka Chamber is excited to invite our members and the community to attend the official grand opening and ribbon-cutting celebration for Piggly Wiggly Food for Less on Thursday, March 12th, at 10:00 a.m., located at 5326 US Highway 231 in Wetumpka.

Guests, local officials, Chamber members, and media are encouraged to arrive shortly before the program begins and gather near the ribbon-cutting area. At 10:00 a.m., Cody McDaniel will share brief remarks expressing appreciation to the Wetumpka community and highlighting the store’s commitment to serving local families.

Following the remarks, the ceremonial ribbon cutting will take place, along with group photos featuring store leadership, Chamber representatives, and local officials. This event is open to the public and is designed to be a welcoming, community-focused celebration. Timing may vary slightly depending on attendance and on-site logistics.
