About Us

The Alabama River Region Arts Center was formed in 2010 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to bring the people of the River Region together to appreciate, learn and create all types of arts and cultures.

FACILITIES
The Arts Center has four classrooms with access to two overflow classrooms and a staged auditorium. Our Pottery Studio is fully equipped with three pottery wheels, a clay press and sink. A second is equipped with a series of floor plugs to accommodate sewing machines, computers, etc. Then we have a mugallerysic room with a small number of basic instruments for in-house use. And the fourth contains a number of easels, art horses and tables to support drawing pads and canvas.

Clubs and Associations: take note that we have a break room with a refrigerator, several tables, folding chairs and a projector. Members can arrange to use the facilities at no charge (or to pay a staff member $30 to open and close) up to twelve times a year depending on the organization's membership level and with sufficient notice.

We now have one day and 1/2 day workshops. Schedule for the current offerings can be found on the Calendar or download the pdf version. Painting, Pottery, Sewing & Quilting
